The Glass Calomel Reference Cell is used to ascertain the accuracy of Silver/Silver Chloride Half Cell. If looked after, the cell will last for up to two years and can easily be stored. It can be connected to a separate high impedance millivolt meter (greater than 10 meg Ohm) via a 1 metre lead.
